Welcome to saltwater fly fishing at its absolute best! These rods are like nothing else you have ever cast. There have been several attempts in the past by other manufacturers to make a fly rod that will allow you to actually “fight” a fish. The results of these attempts ended up being a rod that was just stiff all the way through. Well, we created a different recipe for building a blue water fly rod. The Leviathan series fly rods are built using our unidirectional 82 Mill-mod nano stitched carbon (UD82) which produces a blank that is capable of long, effortless casts, the punching power to turn over even the largest of flies in windy conditions, and a stiff butt section for unmatched lifting power during the fight!
We built this series for the serious fly angler looking for a serious fight. Anyone who has had the pleasure of hooking a big amberjack that wants to go back to his wreck knows the serious stress that is put on the angler and the rod. Hooking a Blue Fin Tuna, Sailfish, or a Mako Shark…Well I don’t think we need to explain much about how much stress that can put on a fly rod! Available from 8 weight to 20 weight…That ought to about cover it!
