Welcome to saltwater fly fishing at its absolute best! These rods are like nothing else you have ever cast. There have been several attempts in the past by other manufacturers to make a fly rod that will allow you to actually “fight” a fish. The results of these attempts ended up being a rod that was just stiff all the way through. Well, we created a different recipe for building a saltwater fly rod. What we did with the Leviathan series is start with a tip section that is AFTMA rated for a certain line weight and work the taper down to a butt section that is two weights greater. For example a 9 weight Leviathan will cast like a 9 weight but will fight like an 11 weight
We built this series for the serious fly angler looking for a serious fight. Anyone who has had the pleasure of hooking a striped bass in a heavy rip knows the serious stress that is put on the angler and the rod. Hooking a Blue Fin Tuna, Sailfish, or a Mako Shark…Well I don’t think we need to explain much about how much stress that can put on a fly rod! Available from 8 weight to 20 weight…That ought to about cover it!

Each fly rod in the Leviathan series is fitted with oversized snake guides to allow for better line control and less friction, the new Channel Lock reel seat from Pacific Bay to ensure a tight fit, (TiCh) Titanium hard coated stripping guides, Flor grade cork full wells grips, and a fighting butt.
